High class poverty
High class poverty is almost an american tradition. look around you. everyone has to have brand new best of everything. and the debt for it too. in other words their net worth is nil or less than nothing. worse than someone from a third world country, we owe more than we own. we think we are high class but we really live in poverty. . . . . . later

Myrtle Beach Real Estateyes.. an american tradition, take money form the bank, enjoy life, and then keep shouting to govt we are in debt, help us,
debt always rots everything from the inside.
I do think this is an American tradition to keep up with the Jones, however we learned it from our government. My great grandchildren will be paying off this new debt and my daughter is only one. We need to stop.
I guess we always want to look good in front of others, that is why even we don't have money to buy new stuff that we can show off to our friends, we buy them, even if it will add up to a long list of debt.
Thanks for a nice and informative site. Somehow I was drawn to reading the post and I enjoyed a lot. Have a nice day!
Lets enjoy your life but debt not make your life better but more suck
thanks for this good informations..
nice read your article..
Knockoff Bagsi do think the problem is with the showoff metality of americans, they live on debt
Knockoff Bags
debt, that's nice, kinda like rotting a nation from within.
debt never is good to anyone, kinda like cancer from within..
Hey Thom,
You left a comment on my Mattress Police site a while back asking about my commenting plugin. Not sure how serious you were, but I wanted to let you know that I'm going to be releasing it for general use in a couple of weeks as part of the Blog-Storm platform. Nice info. Thank you i need this
Wow - think this is true, My husband and I have not bought anything on Credit for over 18 months now ad are almost debt free and it feels great.
I think we learn it from our government, this is so true.
Seriously, this sucks. The worse part is that when someone sees some guy driving nice car who's probably stressin' out trying to pay it off, it makes him feel less, so he goes out and buys an expensive watch on credit to feel better. Then another guy sees his watch, then the cycle continues. Welcome to America.
What you have said is the bare truth, we people really believe that life exist today and we should not leave anything for tomorrow and that's why many a times are tomorrow is uglier than our today.
I agree that it's true. But at the same time, luckily Americans actually have the freedom to get in debt and live a relatively good life. So they're better off than those in a third world country, who don't have the option to have personal debt.
It happens for me to have a lot of american friends
As time passed i just realized that they are not the dream people that they let us see on tv,they are just like us
It's hard it's very hard for the moment with this recession and all but hopefully it will be ok oon
Maybe Madonna was on to something.... We are living in a material world, and I am a material girl... (or boy).
Yeh lets hope things get much better, great blog by the way :)
Very true. Listen everyone, it's just proves that rich people aren't necessarily happy.
Debt management is never easy. It's better to use your savings to payoff a debt rather than save and have a debt at the same time which accrues a lot of interest.
I think people around the world have taken to the American tradition and that's why the entire world is reeling from economic slow down. Take money from banks and credits then default and bad credit ratings, mortgage and all that stuff.
yeah, that's why many americans filed bankruptcy
Debts are just like VIRUS. We keep ourselves in debt just to show the fake status to others. Come out in the real world and try to fight with the situation.
That's just sad isn't it? Definitely something we should all learn to practice is to live within our means. If we really can't afford something at the moment, then why even bother to buy it just so we can show others we have it? It's like we are constantly trying to outdo one another or keep up with each other that in the end we all just pull each other down.
I must agree with you here
Me too. people are too afraid to show the real them. Why show-off? Why feel shame to live simple according to what we can afford? There's no need to exaggerate, it has no improvement to our essence
Yes, I have to agree that people just don't want others think that they're being affected by the recession but deep inside they are suffering.
This is a ridiculous human act really!!!!
Establish yourself in business.Business consultants company deals with a network of business consultants dedicated to assisting businesses development, corporate finance and executive interim management. The energetic and flexible nature of the network allows one to increase productivity and maximize the benefit for the clients.
Blame it on the credit card, I say. :D
But seriously, our reliance on credit cards have become the reason why there are a lot of people who are in debt. We should learn how to pay them in time, and not let it grow bigger.
hmm i guess its due to using credit cards
americans just cant seem to live without them
whereas in most 3rd world countries cards or only for the elite. so ppl actually save up before buying stuff
Thanks for your useful info, I think it’s a good topic. I would like to read more about your articles.
This article is very useful. It reveals the poverty of rich people.
The Western society has lost sight of a lot of core values and traditions. Greed is an ugly trait.
It si the real fact.I completely agree with the point.
I really appreciate the kind of topics you post here, that's much as I think and we can apply it to many ways. Thanks for sharing us a great information that is actually helpful. Good day!
This is very nice article. The Americans are very rich. But they live under utter poverty. The usually hide their poverty from others.
I know what it's like to miss a few meals however if we are truly honest we can see we have an incredible number of blessings to which we should very day give profound thanks.
It is very difficult situation in our life that we are unable to pay our debts. But we pretend our finacial diffculties from others.Though we lead a much richer life, really we are very poor people.
This is ridicules to keep borrowing money just for the sake of enjoying the life without having intentions to return it. In fact this shows that we are not rich .... we are beggars.
You do come up with some of the most funny and somewhat outrageous things ever.
Comparing us to people in 3rd world countries is definitely a new one for me.
Funny comparison though :D
Movie Making FAQ
Looks nice ...!
'High class Poverty is American Tradition' is a proven one by the American people, this habits are the reason for the current economic crisis and everything, all know this, but from my point of view this is not people mistake, this is a mistake made by Bush Government. 50% credit goes to People.
A majority of americans suffer from this. They don't care about their futures. All they care about is what they can get right now and it has to be the latest and greatest.
Ya i agree with poker that High class poverty is american tradition, But i agree that bec of Bush these problem arised.
I agree with you but we can change this by decreasing our expenses, do some good savings and then get all that we want. This is a simple solution but no one take it seriously.
Living a glamourous life with a lot of debts is ruining the lives of so many people.
Putting up a show in front of everybody buying cars and villas...and being in debt, is ruining American's life.
We need to start teaching our children about finacial management, energy conservation and how to live with their own means rather than in depth history lessons that children will later forget. We are in real deep brown stuff at the moment and our children are the future.
The best thing is to live within your means. Debts can ruin your life.
When we are rewarded for our (financial)mistakes, we begin to believe they are worth it. So, when that lady shows up to the party wearing something she truly could never afford, paired with shoes that cost her a months worth of groceries and she meets a man who has no idea how he is going to pay off his ridiculously glamoirous car...they are rewarded by praise and envious eyes. And the never-ending cycle is fueled.
